www.sheldonbrown.com The late, legendary Sheldon Brown was a bicycle god and his site(s) are goldmines for information on all things connected with bicycles, their maintenance, repair and operation.

www.ctc.org.uk The Cyclists' Touring Club, or CTC, is Britain's premier cycling organization. Mainly covers cycle touring, but of interest to all cyclists.

www.pedalforscotland.org The home site for Scotland's annual charity cycle ride over the 50 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Children's charities benefit every year from the efforts of the many hundreds of cyclists taking part in a very enjoyable day.

www.bikemagic.com A site mainly devoted to mountain biking and aimed at young cyclists. However it has an excellent series of technical articles on many aspects of bike servicing and maintenance.

www.sjscycles.com There are many very good internet retailers selling bikes and bike parts. SJSC are one of the best for difficult to find parts.

www.cycletourer.co.uk An excellent site for those considering longer distance cycle tours or cycle camping holidays. Clear information from two people who have "been there, done that".

www.wiggle.co.uk One of the best online retailers of cycle parts, accessories and clothing. Not always the cheapest, but a good stock and decent service.

www.byercycles.co.uk Suppliers of bike frames, parts and complete bikes made to order. They made my Aravis Super Tourer for me and I've been very pleased with it.

www.chiffandfipple.com Chiff and Fipple is a USA based site which covers all aspects of the tin whistle or penny whistle, including playing, making and buying whistles. It doesn't claim that the whistle holds the key to the meaning of life, just nearly...
